  1. Thanks for the heads up B3-er.
  2. Second that Mr. Moose.
  3. Red Norvo was part of that killer trio with Tal Farlow and Mingus something that I must check out in the future.
  4. Oh fuck I had forgotten that jingle until you brought it up Big Al. Thanks a fucking lot. Oh fuck ,fucking a.
  5. I've never believed the loan gunman theory. There are just too many loose ends and the Warren report was far too sanitized for my tastes. Organized crime and or big oil are my bets as responsible parties.
  6. Yeah and when you live in small town USA it can be a real pisser.
  7. It's one I'll get when I become a billionare.
  8. That's right.Thanks Bruce.
  9. Wasn't Spahn good with the stick too or was that Lew Burdette?
  10. The Cubs helped themselves they obtained Derek Lee from the Marlins for next to nothing.
  11. I think I said this on the BNBB and I'll say it here "The Year of Living Dangerously" and another one that was pretty cool was a western with Richard Farnsworth I believe the name of it was "The Grey Ghost" also "Under Fire" with Nick Nolte and Gene Hackman.
  12. Joe,second to what Ron said, the Colorado Division of Wildlife, the local authorities and the locals many of whom are hunters are really down on that kind of activity and in the kind of towns in Colorado that Ron and I live in if their is anybody who does this sort of thing their chance of being found out is good and when their found out they can count on prosecution.I hope you find the bastard who did this.
  13. I could get behind that idea as well.
  14. They should put the previously released American recordings in box form. It was interesting to browse through the outtakes list at least some of them were performed by Johnny in other sessions. It will be very interesting to see where the differences are.
  15. I've been a fan of the instrument ever since I've been into jazz. My earliest favorites were Gary Burton and Bobby Hutcherson. Later on it was Cal Tjader and Johnny Otis. One of my favorite albums was Dave Pike's " Times Out Of Mind" I just about wore it out. Since then I've picked up the cd and I've just about worn it out. I love the sound of that instrument. If I was going to try and play any instrument it would be the vibes.
  16. Bummer dude.
  17. I'll be traveling a few miles up the road and eating with friends. Turkey, the trimmings and perhaps Filet Mignons(but I' m not sure about that) and engaging in holiday debauchery.
  18. That's understandable Rooster aand hopefully the light at the end of the tunnel won't be a damn train.
  19. "Today's Active Topics" has worked for me but I will have to check out "My Assistant".
  20. I used to be primarily a beef eater but the price of beef is becoming increasingly outrageous so it's primarily beef and pork for me. Elk on rare occasions but NO MOOSE . That can get you in a lot of trouble in Colorado.
  21. If what you're saying is true than he probably will beat the rap because you know that if this goes to trial then he'll come into court with a battery of attorneys who could get Hitler off. His career has been going steadily into the dumpster and I have to wonder if this latest thing will just about finish it off.
  22. That makes more sense. Thanks for the heads up.
