    When I saw Almost Famous with a friend, Lou and Laurie Anderson were sitting a few rows away. I passed him in the hallway at the premiere of Bang on a Can's Music for Airports too. More of an icon than musically interesting for me, this makes me feel old.

    Reminds me of the story of Stefan Wolpe who was Feldman's teacher to think of the man on the street....and they look down from the office window and see Jackson Pollock crossing the street. It should remind you of the story, since it's told in that article.

    When I heard Zorn on the radio with Schaap, Zorn did all the talking. Another announcer came on after 3pm and Zorn kept talking. He beat Phil at his own game of motor mouth.
