I was able to find Black California Volume 2 on eBay a few years ago. I have volume 1 but as a record. Discogs seems to have plentiful copies of the series.

I’m not familiar with the Gibbs material but the Lovano one is terrific. It’s been years since I listened to it.

It was one of those interminable games that seemed to go and on. Frankly, I can’t seem them beating the Rays. I don’t watch a lot of AL baseball but I watched them when they played the Mets. They’re a very tight team, not a lot of great hitters, but they get the job done and they pitch well. Should be an interesting series.

Doubt it. It’s two teams. The same predictions were made when the Marlins and Cardinals had many cases but the two teams managed to play and finish their seasons and MLB had very few cases after that (so far).

Pretty unbelievable. Better safe than sorry.

I visited the hematologist today and my levels continue to improve so that was real good news.

Since I first posted this over 16 years ago, in 2019 I upgraded my turntable to a ProJect X2. Not sure this counts as audio set up but I recently purchased a Nitty Gritty 1.0 record cleaning machine.

Mets were worse. They entered Saturday with a chance to make the playoffs and finished the season in last place. The only thing that makes this palatable is they will soon have a new owner.
