  1. How do you follow up Moving Pictures? This way. Brilliant follow-up record. Subdivisions is a brilliant follow-up track to Tom Sawyer. I love both records. Neil Peart is a genius writer and drummer, even went to relearn how to drum with Buddy Rich. Blessed to hear Rush play side one of 2112 live. Coolest moments in live concert music ever.

Behind 2112, this is the next best record, pre Moving Pictures.
  3. One of the greatest bands of the 80's. Yes. Love progressive Yes. From to Albums are switched, but you get were talking about the seventies. Saw them live in '86 and they put on an incredible show. Great stuff.
  4. Reason why I love jazz. Grew up with this stuff in the 70's "feels so good" was on the radio all the time. I love Foreigner, Boston, and Kiss, just as much, but thanks especially to my Mom, grew up listening to George Benson, Chuck Mangione, and Spyro Gyra, too. Weird ass twist.
  5. Is it just me, or is Johnny Griffin the whitest guy down at South Beach? Wow.
  6. I'm nosey, but what else is going on those shelves besides a twinkies box?
  7. Umm, not my taste, but others may dig it.
  8. Played it last night, and still affordable. Rounding the corner, my wife thought I was playing Bach. It is a gorgeous record, but get why Columbia didn't distribute it here in America, as 1977 meant Kiss's Love Gun was blaring on the radio, or fixate on radio-friendly tunes (frankly, like those radio-friendly tunes). A great record that can be had for under a Jackson.
  9. Woah, this is cool. Wow! Playing now:
  10. Really appreciating what a genius this man is. From the Blue Notes' right up to the modern day collaborations, Herbie is one of those artists that should be in the same talk as Miles and Trane. Incredible life, incredible human being.
  11. Never seen this recording before, wow. But "Eric" got me in the mood for this Found this used at a record exchange when I was in PA a year ago. Awesome.
  12. Lost, does not necessarily mean gone. I gotta think somebody on earth someplace, has a copy somewhere. Even if the drumming is shitty, I still want to hear it.
  13. You got a point with the Western Conference. Yep, dum, dum trade according to me to this day, lt makes no sense to me, but can say the numbers are exactly right in the East.
