  1. Wish this would be reissued.
  2. NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONON Sorry, 5 Guys is shit. If you're in the DC area (the home base of 5 Guys) it's Ray's Hell Burger, where you can get marrow as a topping, among other things (just gimme bleu cheese). Well, my burger was well cooked, the meat was good quality and the extras were fresh, nothing close to shit. Sounds like the chain may be having a problem with consistency. Ray's does sound good though!
  3. I just tried for the first the new Five Guys burger place that recently opened nearby. Very tasty burgers, although a little pricey. Nice fresh pickles, lettuce, tomato and grilled onions. I guess Five Guys is a chain, I've been seeing them all over.
  4. I wish I still had my dad's 70s era Marantz receiver. That thing had such cool lights, it was fun to listen to w/the room lights off.
  5. ....and whisker's on kitten's.....
  6. My photo showed up today in perfect condition and it LOOKS EFFIN AMAZING! Great work, Mark! I can't wait to find the perfect frame for it. Thanks again for doing this.
  7. Great topic, Joe--I'm working on a Night Lights show somewhat similar to this. For starters, "Donna Lee" is based on "Indiana." "Ko-Ko" is based on "Cherokee," correct? From another thread..... Donna Lee (Back Home in Indiana) Ornithology (How High the Moon) Groovin' High (Whispering) Half Nelson (Ladybird) Countdown (Tune Up) Prince Albert (All the Things You Are) Chick's Tune (You Stepped Out of a Dream) Hot House (What is this Thing Called Love) Fried Bananas (It Could Happen To You) Quicksilver (Lover come Back to Me) KoKo (Cherokee) .....and there are many more. There are also many Tristano tunes that are based on standard chord progressions.
  8. Great bargain! Thanks for the heads up.
  9. I got Age of Steam some time ago in the DVD/CD format. In addition to the audio recording there's a DVD with masterclasses and downloadable sheet music of the tunes. Nice extras!
  10. Beautiful garden, MG!
  11. Nice site you have- you've chosen some great classic solos. Thanks for sharing this!
  12. Well, the Jets did better than I thought they would. But Peyton Manning is a MF! Geaux Saints!
  13. Love that green Vonski! Beautiful photo, Mark (all your photos are great). Glad you're around here. I'll be framing it and putting it in a place of honor.
  14. Seconded and amen.
  15. Bullitt in blu-ray. The chase scene will always rock. Also love Lalo's score. Especially the almost Batman-like music (cue diminished chords) leading up to the car chase, and then how the music cuts out for the chase scene, just the throaty sound of the engines. Awesome.
  16. Oh, right. Sorry I blew up. I use Firefox and never have had any problems. Maybe it's on their end.
  17. I just had mine checked last physical. But thanks for the heads up though.
  18. Abstinence makes the fond grow harder.
  19. I remember Cub Scouts. We'd go to someone's house and nail bottlecaps to a board and spraypaint it (it's a shoe cleaner, duh) and then eat cookies and Koolaid until we passed out. Good times. I had the blue shirt, yellow scarf and little cap. It was fun but I never went much further with it. Good for you relyles, for being the leader of the pack! (cue motorcyle revving)
  20. When I go to the grocery store I usually notice how lame the muzak is, yet when I'm in the car I often catch myself humming some lame pop tune I heard in the store. I guess if there's some secret government subliminal suggestion brainwashing plot in action I'm being quite a cooperative test subject. Now if you'll excuse me I must go cluck like a chicken while jumping up and down on one foot.
