I knew this was inevitable, and Allen didn't disappoint.

Grilled, usually with only salt & pepper. Sometimes I like to put some blue cheese or gorgonzola inside the burger before cooking. As far as dressing, I like lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and a toasted bun. Sometimes avacado. As far as favorite restaurant burgers- Steak & Shake, In & Out, Wendy's, Red Robin, the Squeeze Inn in Sacramento and Fuddrucker's. I remember a great place for burgers in Austin on Guadalupe called G&M Steakhouse. Anyone know if it's still there?

The most recent one for me is those obnoxious TV ads where they rewrite the lyrics to holiday tunes (to move product). I think Best Buy is the worst offender, but many others have jumped on this evil bandwagon. Happy Holidays everyone!

Grilled a filet mignon with a baked potato and some grilled asparagus. Cognac, blue cheese and butter melted in a pan and poured over the steak. Awesome!

Yes, "Ethel" nailed it, but where were the drummer and bass player hiding? Under the stairs? I always thought they seemed out of place in that farmhouse- they were city people. Of course I also never really understood why Ricky Ricardo spent so much time hanging out with Fred. But Ethel apparently was shedding all that time. And Edie Adams, hommina-hommina-hommina!!

He might just be burned out on running the show. It's a lot of MF work. He probably just wants to focus on fewer things, like playing, teaching & family. I half expected Paul Ferguson to take over the CJO.

Just came today from Daedalus. "The Completely Mad Don Martin" - all his Mad magazine strips from 1956-1988. A hefty two volume set for cheap! Highly intellectual fare!

Sorry Tom, I had read this and meant to reply sooner but have been slammed with end-of-the-semester stuff at school. I knew and played with Sean when I was living in the Cleveland area around 2000 or so. At that point he was a great player with much promise of more to come, and also a really nice guy. I've heard his CDs and have to say that there are great and less than great moments. His playing is excellent throughout but the music is a little inconsistent (some of the tunes with synth are not really to my taste, and stylistically out of context (IMO) with the other tunes). That said, I think there is much more great music to come from this talented musician. He's a MF on the trumpet. Both lead and solo chops.

Or Saint Patrick's Day, or Cinco De Mayo, or Secretary's Day, or Bosses' Day or any other day made up by either the alcohol or the greeting card industry. Don't forget Talk Like A Pirate Day!
