Had all this in vinyl.. Enjoying the material in thé excellent 3CD 'The Fabulous Gerry Mulligan Sextet ' box from Freshsound which also includes the San Diego concert. Great box!

It was a rough night. Listened to the news on the radio, also to the sound of ambulances rushing victims to hospitals. It's a new day.... calling friends to make sure everybody is all right

One of the most interesting person I ever met. We kept in touch through the years ever since we met in 1965. Last time we talked over the phone two years ago, we discussed a couple of projects. He mentioned a possible visit to Paris after going to Switzerland on business. That get-together did not happen. Spinning some ESPs now in fond remembrances....
