I like Smulyan just fine. Now it's Lil' Dave Thompson, Boulder CO 3-29-09 He died way too young - van accident heading from one gig to the next, iirc - but he had two nice releases on the Electro-Fi label.

OK so this won't be nearly as popular as those other threads but still - I know there are plenty who collect these things, and anyway its a great way to make some people jealous. It's not even out of state purchases necessarily. After we moved 170 miles to central Florida, I couldn't purchase a desk chair at Staples in Plant City using my Amex card. With the floor mat it was like $200 total and I thought the inability to get the card to go thru was ridiculous. And I've used Amex successfully for CDjapan purchases, too.

And those who thought that Mobley-Morgan was the best front line of all.
