Someone at CBS likes jazz, well at least mainstream jazz-related artists. They did a pre-Grammy feature on Samara Joy and had one on Trombone Shorty this AM. I saw some of this Mancini feature as well.

Not that great. Tina Brooks & Lou Donaldson aren't in top form. Kept wishing it would just turn into a trio session. McFadden was nice though.
Glad they're OK. This American phenomenon must seem so weird and grotesque to other parts of the world. Meanwhile its a way of life here with some real trauma to victims families and survivors.
