In his press conference immeidately after the Grey Cup game, Anthony Calvillo announced that he had a thyroid problem and would go under the knife soon. A lesion on the thyroid was removed, and it was determined to be cancerous. So today his thyroid gland was removed. The report is that the doctor is satisfied. Thanks for that link, Paul. Actually it was the audio with the link that answered my question. The five players were encroaching upon the sidelines in an area where only the coaches are allowed to stand. Furthermore, Alosi initially denied instructing the players to stand there, so apparently the team now considers him to have answered the questions dishonestly.

I don't understand the purpose of the wall. What's the deal?

In 1982 I started reading Life After Life by Raymond Moody. I found it very interesting, but half way through it I moved from Pittsburgh to York, and the book was lost in the move. I recently picked up a copy, and I've started it tonight. I'm looking forward to reading the whole thing now.

Tell me about it! Well, maybe I'll get an upgrade sometime in 2011.
