You wouldn't want some of MY vinyl, Noj - where's the smiley for "Yechcchhh!"? Almost every CD I buy that I already have on vinyl is a huge upgrade. MG True, but if I could have them all crisp and new I could digitize them myself then tuck the precious plates away.

I don't have a RapidShare account, but some of those links at Loronix are from old (though apparently still active) .de links that RapidShare used before they went to .com — which at least explains why the screen looks different. Man, that's a lot of downloads. What, you didn't want to download the "Péle Sings" record? Thanks for the explanation, Late. The trouble is, Zeca is like the Dusty Groove of bloggers. Everything is "essential" and "a classic." I'm not sure what to skip! Now that I've got a big chunk, I'll listen for a while before going back for more.

Only a handful of people seemed interested in the "Hard Bossa" thread mentioned above, and I got zero responses to my last post in that thread (in January), directing people to the amazing LORONIX blog, where hundreds of oop Brazilian recordings are available. Following along intently, with not much to add. I've barely scratched the surface of this genre, but I love it.

I prefer darker brews and I usually hate Heineken. I was surprised to find it reasonably drinkable when I visited in 2004. Over here it's this raspy skunky flat junk that gives me a headache.
