I saw this the other night thanks to RDK, and I thought it was pretty good. However, after reading Chrome's article here I'm a little turned off by the inaccuracies in both his life story and the poor representations of some of Ray's friends. At least Jamie Foxx is very believable.

She hasn't got any integrity to lose. It's like Barney The Purple Dinosaur missing a cue.

In other words, I'd love it. I dig that funky fusion stuff. Some of my favorite tracks are just the short little interludes and simple grooves. Sometimes less is more, if it's funky enough, afaic. I don't need music to stretch the boundaries of what I have heard accomplished with instruments so much as an original sound within a traditional rhythmic structure. I've got some cheesey albums where I just like a couple bars...isn't that veird?

Doh! That's what I get for not investigating before buying--Discs 3 & 4 are the Art Blakey Live At Birdland discs, which I already have.

The colors are RGB. I did the sketch, threw it on the scanner, adjusted the size, and uploaded it. I then took the sketch through several stages in Photoshop, printed it, scanned the print out, adjusted the size, and when I try to upload it says the file is in the wrong format or too large.

No, that's not it. It doesn't appear any different in format and is actually smaller.

The Pep Boys jingle flows so much smoother "Randy, Joe, & Jim" but unfortunately that isn't the sequence here... I made the thing into a logo but can't seem to upload the file. I have done nothing different in comparison to how I uploaded the sketch. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

An introvert among extroverts, that's me. I've got a funny bunch of friends, same ones since junior high. I don't see them nearly as often as I used to, and that's fine by me.

I just got Clifford Brown The Complete Blue Note & Pacific Jazz Recordings today. Isn't this identical in content to the Mosaic? Mind-blowingly good music. B-)

I picked the Red Sox in 6, but who knows? Both of these teams have tremendous batting line-ups, it will come down to pitching (always the same story in baseball, I guess). I hope Boston wins, it would be better for baseball.

I would say your reputation is in the "highly respected and knowledgeable" range, Mike.

It leans toward the "spacey," at its worst a bit of Mizell disco flavor (Open Eyes). I think the track "Inside You" is worth the price of admission, but that's just me.
