  1. CD2 - A treasure trove.
  2. French DMM - Good, punchy sound and very nice session. Mono NY USA for ‘Oh Baby’ sounds really good. Good find.
  3. Still got my ‘Realization’ vinyl UK Capricorn pressing - £0.50 from WH Smith, back in the day.
  4. Bought my vinyl copies of the Henderson Vol 1 and Bartz 2LPs from the artists when Soul Brother toured them round the UK playing this stuff years ago. Signed by the artists in both cases. Eddie brought along his bank of wah-wahs ! I have the Gluck book too and its also on my reading list. Anyway, back to ECM.....
  5. This one - put out by Soul Brother in the UK.
  6. Very nice - was spinning it just the other day. The Antholgy captures the pick of those Blue Note tracks - a bit more ‘disco’ in parts than the Capricorns. Their Bartz Anthology is good too. Back to ECM...
  7. Recorded.1973, released 1974. Agree that it is superb - ‘Polarization’ I personally find even better. Wonder why that one never saw a CD issue?
  8. Julian Priester Pepo Mtoto ‘Love, Love’
  9. Another one which I need to spin more often.
  10. Happy Birthday, Mr Heath !
  11. Essential for any die-hard Mingus fan. It has the short-lived group from 72/73 with Joe Gardner, John Stubblefield, Pullen and Roy Brooks. Radio broadcast tape held by the Brooks Estate, authorised for release by Sue Mingus. Sound quality is more than acceptable and the live atmosphere well captured. A ‘find’, for sure. I think the Forum ran a thread on this one if you do a search. From the Nucleus Vertigo box
  12. That one is a favourite - one of those things I would have loved to witness in person in that Vancouver club. Bought it on vinyl on RSD a couple of years ago, heck of a lot more than $3.87 though !
  13. CD1 - Superb, Don Pullen in particular.
  14. Very nearly bought that one the other day. One of the few things by Bobby that I don’t have in one form or another !
  15. Yes, to my mind those albums are a great snapshot of a particular era and sound. Kloss more than held his own in fast company, the bands had some great lineups and compositionally there was always something interesting going on. Ideal Mosaic material - heck, I can even tolerate and enjoy the out of tune Prestige piano.
  16. I would have ordered/bought such a box in an instance. It would make a perfect Mosaic, in an ideal world where they had rights to the old Fantasy material.
  17. From the Nucleus box
  18. Do we have any advances on £5/$6?
