  1. Good Lord, you're missing so so much. . . I hope you cave and get this, timeless music.
  2. My favorite is "Up Up and Away with People."
  3. Yeah, she's cool. I bet her next few albums are going to be even better. I think she's growing.
  4. Yes, got rid of the beard about four years ago now. It had a palamino look. . .about three colors, brown, grey, white. . . got tired of it! My late wife finally gave me permission to remove it, and got used to me without it.
  5. Welcome Karl! I was listening to you today on this one: Nice playing, and very nice arranging too.
  6. Hi Jim. Nice to see you.
  7. Those are out on a number of cds. . . Chronogical Classics has the masters I believe all of them, There is a Spotlite cd, there was a cd from Stash (Jazz Vintage Classics I think) and all are on the two cd set from Lonehill. . . .
  8. NO issues.
  9. Updated. Thanks Ronald.
  10. Updated. Thanks John.
  11. M.A.N.T.I.S . . .disc three of the dvd set (only ran one season).
  12. Hope it was great!
  13. I've been in that "real world" you're talking about. Believe me, it's overrated. You want to stay away from it. Absolutely. Especially the sound quality: it just sucks. If you want to enjoy your music in all its depth, detail and with tons of air, try SACD. "Real world" graphics is a joke, too. I guess I'm lucky guys, my "real world" is pretty damned SWEET these days. And I ordered a new SACD player. Sony SCD-XA5400ES
  14. I've added two discs, and reduced the price on the K2s to the lowest I'll go. Thanks.
  15. Might be good for all of us.
  16. I changed my mind. I didn't like these when I heard the vinyl many many years ago. But. . .I saw the set cheap and gave it a shot. Like it this time.
  17. Yes Eric Gravatt. . . excellent drummer. You may be mistaking Foster's grin. . . performers developing habits, and masks, to display on stage. Better to be grinning than grimacing, or totally blank. . . .
  18. Oh Yeah, very fun, very well-done, movie. Right now: Medium
  19. Fifty years! How many "units" do you think have sold?
  20. Al Foster was an incredible groove / funk drummer. Jazz. . . he has his moments!
  21. I don't know what others might think, and I don't "rifle the bins," but I think there's more vinyl at the North Lamar location, volume wise. But I may be wrong. . . .
  22. Happy birthday Garth! Many happy happy returns!
  23. It's quite a nice set. Melllllloooooooooow. Nice little package.
