  1. Spooky.
  2. B. Goren, I have gone through the first two discs and was very impressed. Like Bev, I got it mainly for Louis Stewart but I had not heard any Shearing before and after listening to this I don't know why people would be "anti" Shearing. It really is a trio in the classic sense and everyone gets their share of solo space, its not all Shearing, in fact Louis Stewart seems to start off alot of the tunes. I know its a MPS edition and all that but I don't think I've ever heard a guitar sound as nice before.
  3. Some nice Barney, St. Thomas
  4. Another good one, the neck looks like a banjo neck in his hands. Tal Farlow - Autumn Leaves - Live 1978
  5. Nice Tal Farlow clip, "Misty" performed by Tal Farlow He's playing the prototype of his sig. model.

  9. Are there any Tatum fans out there that have this 3cd set? I have seen it second hand and reckon it might be a good place to start with him, seems to be all his early stuff.

  11. So for all you living dead out there....... Space Guitar.
  12. Quite frankly, you haven't lived unless you've heard "Space Guitar".

  14. Got this one recently, only had a chance to listen to it once, was quietly impressed, doesn't seem as "flash" as his earlier stuff, more thoughful and restrained although that could be something to do with his age/heraring.
  15. It's a raid on the Mosaic box selections that include Hall, plus Seven Pieces, the Easy Way and a few other odds and ends. I think I have some of this stuff somewhere, must dig it out and re-aquaint myself with it. Cheers for the info. chaps.
