Which Mosaic Are You Enjoying Right Now?

[gmonahan]

One of my absolute favorites

[Stompin at the Savoy]

[Chuck Nessa]

First two discs with a bunch of Bud Freeman.

Lucky to have his friendship in his last years.

First two discs so far.

[Tom 1960]

Searching the archives here I saw many positive comments concerning this set. I scored this set on eBay the week before last for $75 in mint condition. On the first 2 discs there is some real fine playing by Harry "Sweets" Edison.

Definitely one of my favorite sets and an underrated Mosaic gem, in my opinion. Lots of variety and it always swings!

Now to disc 5. I like the "Affinity" album a lot, especially since it's new to me--didn't have that one already!

Disc 7 and the MPS material.
