I am excited about the Russell. I have some of these on vinyl. True I've got mixed feelings about them, but I think the set will be an excellent opportunity to think about Russell again. It will be a good price, I expect, and I am looking forward to it.

This one is definitely on my short list. Don't have any of the albums.

The scale of price is a bit out of whack , 23 Euros for the Bowie 3 cd set, while for the Taylor who has two more cds is 25 Euros.

For those wondering, talking about FNAC, found it on Amazon France with prices ranging from the Bowie at 18 Euros to Russell at 31.

which is similar (but a good deal nicer), similar relations at amazon.de (but add 15-20 Euro to the price...) still waiting for grooves-inc prices (Threadgill set is labeled sold out on the label's hompage btw)

So far neither Grooves or Cam Jazz have annonced any pricing. Ordering all four from Amazon France is costing 89 Euros shipping included, remember I'm a Canuck.

I emailed CAM to ask if they were going to be selling this batch of the direct like they did for the first sets. I didn't hear anything back, which suggests they might be on vacation?

Well, I don't know what happened here, it seems as if they didn't print enough on the first run as they sent out a lot of pre-orders, and the sets are now "coming soon" in the same stores that just shipped quantities.

I think before long there will be tons available.

So far I really love the Russell box. . . wasn't too familiar with these, had heard just a few titles. I think the remastering in these sets really stands out. . . in a great way.

These new sets are not even listed on UK websites yet, as far as I can see. I'm hoping they will be as they will likely come out cheaper with free shipping...
