Setting aside Point of Departure, this is IMHO the best Joe/Kenny album Edited 15 hours ago by Guy Berger Quote

Rooster_Ties Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago One of Joe’s more underrated albums, imho, is his last one for Milestone in 1977 — Black Narcissus (rec. in 1974-76). His remakes of “Black Narcissus” and “Power to the People” are really interesting, in part because of Patrick Gleeson‘s electronics and synthesizers. (Not saying that alone makes the album great — but it is interesting and different for Joe.) So that — plus Joe’s playing, as always, is as engaging as ever. “Black Narcissus” “Power to the People” Quote
