  3. Bob Trombone Eric Saxophone Tom Skinflute
  4. The Moondoc is a good catch. I've been looking for it and it's out of print. I could get a new one on Amazon for $209.36 or a used one for $39.99.
  5. Really don't want to read the disagreements above (I started and gave up). I have at least one cd and have heard him "live" a few times. He seemed ok, but I enjoyed his frequent partner Rudresh more. Can anyone recommend a "great" recording by him?
  6. Seems to be a stupid marketing ploy. Bummer.
  7. Geez! Get a grip man. The music publishing is more than the asking price.

  15. Their sets were "brilliant"? Please 'splain!
  16. this thread indicates jazz might be over. now we can safely move on to "working within styles" without denigration until the last real jazzman dies. It won't be long kiddies.
  17. Mahler Sym 1, Horenstein/VSO on Vox.
  18. It is so hard to choose.
  19. The Fish deal lasted from '78 thru '81. I continued to press it after that with an new label design. I believe the last pressing was in November of '86.
  20. First pressings had a Madison, WI address. First 2000 covers had artists names in "purple" ink, like the circle in the center. This was changed to "drop out" white on the first reprint a few months later. Label for pressings until 1978 matched the color on the cover - white bottom/"purple" top. Master number etched in dead wax - 15703. During the years 1971-1977 the record was pressed/repressed at least 7 times. The green label appeared when I made a distribution deal with Flying Fish records.
