I have a copy of Rex Hollywood 25099. His name is spelled Vasquez and the song titles are Snake Den / Clutching Hand. Haven't listened in years but seem to recall Anthony Ortega as the saxophonist.

I'd figured that out on my own.

Out to Brunch

We discovered an interesting feature of the "instant" watching - Ann and I were interrupted last week while watching Oscar and Lucinda (a long film). We went to Chicago for the jazz fest and now, Netflix has held our spot in the movie! FWIW, we watch on my iMac and the images are outstanding.

Me too! I finally took the plunge 2 weeks ago. I'm on the $9 plan (one DVD in your possession). I'm very pleased. I just sent back my 4th rental. There are tons of T.V. shows that I'd rather not buy at $20 - $30 a pop. Now I can sample them ad nauseam. We are on the same plan. We watch one on Wed, mail it back and have another for the weekend. Next up is an indie called Goodbye Solo. We religiously watch Apple Trailers and add stuff to the queue.

Whatever. If I hadn't seen Roscoe, Muhal, etc this week an had encouragement from then, I'd stop. As long as they are happy I'll try to sublimate the other stuff. Forget all this and give prayers to whoever you admire for Mr Earl Lavon Freeman. He played the fest but is not well. I am praying for him. Thanks to Bill Gates for this thread so I could spread this word. Apologies to all if I sound line Allen Lowe.

See the recent Signal to Noise review of the Congliptious reissue. Hard to find at the end of the reissues page. and...I've received complaints on this board about my upcoming Bowie reissue with all the material. I'm going broke delivering the music and no one is happy.
