  1. has been mentioned before, the other two are not much more expansive, e.g., between 14 and 16 at amazon marketplace Yes - I picked up Fearless Leader yesterday for $15.58 + shipping (the usual $2.98).
  2. It's just fine!
  3. Orhan Pamuk: Snow
  4. And mine.
  5. So do I. I also often return to the Tiny Bell Trio.
  6. Looks like we all agree. What a novelty.
  7. I agree with that. Interesting to see the varied opinions. In its own way there were times that the MJQ swung just like the Basie band.
  8. I like all 3 of them. So there!!
  9. Probably currently the best series on TV. I respect Lon's objections. However these "issues" don't mar the show for me.
  10. Pentangle: The Time Has Come (1967-1973) - 4 CD set I know - only partly jazz, but really good.
  11. I'm a fan too. Good player.
  12. Trio 3 + Geri Allen (Intakt CD) Marc Copland: New York Trio, Vol. 3 (Gress, Stewart)
  13. Nice!! I've always wanted to read more by Robert Levin.
  14. Just ordered both of these directly from the LITA website.
  15. I'm a big fan. Hope he's O.K..
  16. Abraham Verghese: Cutting For Stone

    Denis Charles

Lacy / Rudd: Early & Late - Charles is on the last 4 cuts on disc 2, the entire release is worthwhile.
  20. Tana French: In The Woods
  21. 2 Eddie Higgins Venus solo CDs that are "on sale" at Jazz Loft.
  22. There you go. I have the Sundazed issue, but don't want to sell it at this time.

School Days has been reissued twice on Hat, last in 2002. Next time it's reissued don't miss it. There are relatively expensive copies available online.
  24. Sadly Intents & Purposes never has made it to CD.
