  1. Certainly imititative, just missing the one word.....
  2. Vasquez wasn't that great for them the first time around. Maybe they see something now. When he was with the Expos, he was lights out.
  3. I don't know if others are having this proble, but if I open a thread that Jim has posted on, the Forum freezes (not to mention all that white space). I'm doing this from my BB which is not set up properly for the Forum. Also, I cannot figure how to post photos. The manage attachments doesn't work and I can't use the full editor; nothing happens.
  4. Did you have it cold? I remember working on some deals where we'd order in dinner but still be here at 3 in the morning working away. Cold pizza was delicious at that time of the night. Also cold Chinese rice is great too
  5. Since you haven't overcome that distinction, your points just don't hold up. Is he a slime, yeah; I think we all agree on that. A Nazi? That's a little strong.
  6. Apparently, she may divorce him. If so, I wonder what affect her knowledge of his sexual escapades may have on the final settlement.
  7. That is one beat up looking cover!
  8. Referring to what the jazz listener or Marsalis did as Nazis trivializes what happened in Germany in the 1930s. One distinction that is crucial: what happened in Germany was done under state action. Marsalis can by no means be considered as acting as a state official. He's just a fool.
  9. This is pretty sad: drunk at 4, a cross dresser and a thief. What's next: AA?
  10. I don't buy anything major without asking her what she wants.
  11. Picked up Buffalo Springfield's Last Time Around. Certain songs on this album are missing from the box set.
  12. There's an interesting website that has a lot of different ideas, www.uncommongoods.com. May be a little late for Christmas however.
  13. Hopefully the story is only a joke. Why expose yourself to criticism in this way?

    Assume it's all fixed?
  15. Did you have a good sleep Rip, err, I mean Bruce
  16. I didn't find that list terribly enlightening.
  17. Can't say it was that bad in NWestern NJ. We probably had about 4 to 5 inches. Plowguy came this morning and moved almost all of it. I took care of the rest.
  18. Heard she had a coronary. Pity to die at such a young age.
  19. I wonder if the states that are the happiest rank low in average time spent with a therapist
  20. I was going to say that it's related to climate but that's not the case at all. Also interesting that the tristate area (NY, NJ, Conn) come in dead last. I'm ready to move.
  21. Just started Pete Fornatele's Return to the Garden, about Woodstock.
  22. I used to collect them (O Gauge) and had a layout. Trouble was I didn't have a lot of room and you need a lot of room for a decent layout. It's a great hobby and the trains they make today are amazing. When I was interested in the hobby, Neil Young was one of the owners of Lionel. Don't know if he still is.
  23. It's about to start here in NW Jersey.
  24. Does she like gardening? If so, a gift certificate to a gardening place might be good. Even though yousaid you've done the kitchen thing, how about a blender. That's what I'm getting for mine, one from Kitchen Aid.
  25. I like soul jazz but never cared for him. I think he's been discussed extensively here if you do a search.
