  1. My condolences but it sounded like she may have lived a full life and I'm sure in her years on this earth she must have witnessed and lived through very interesting times.
  2. Imax 3D is the only way to go!
  3. Well, the one that grabbed me today was Simon & Garfunkel's Bookends. Incredible tune. I want to learn to play it.
  4. Angels and Demons!
  5. Jim, Does your answer above apply to my question?
  6. I have a bit of a different problem. When I try to upload photos from my computer, they won't load and I get an Error 406. Any idea what that is?
  7. Jeff, I'll try a download; never tried that before. I'll be back in touch if it doesn't work.

    Jim Rotondi

I have the Excursions recording and like it. I think he is a good player. However, I'm not sure he's blazing any new trails and I can't disagree with the other comments posted so far.
  9. Saw this last night in Imax 3D. All I can say is Wow! Story is not original as some have noted but it is beautifully conceived and executed. Simply amazing movie. They also showed coming attractions for Cinderella in 3D. That also looks amazing.
  10. Is the T Bone set still available or is that an old listing?
  11. Waiting in line for Avatar on Imax.
  12. Simply amazing.
  13. I think this might hold for any musical instrument that you're trying to learn for the first time: don't buy anything too expensive (a student model maybe); in my area you can rent instruments so maybe some music shops in your area may do the same.
  14. Think I have this. Any Tommy is generally good.
  15. Never heard of them but interesting stuff to be sure.
  16. That's the arrangement my son and I have. I don't use autosync for mine since it's only a Nano; I just use playlists. He's unchecked all my jazz stuff but otherwise autosyncs.
  17. Since your old ipod has more memory than your wife's, I wouldn't think it would since obviously you've figured out what to do with yours and hers. I assume you don't autosync on the present arrangement.
  18. I think Hans' advice is the best one. That is what I do when I get a suspicious ebay email. By the way, the spammers seem to have gotten tired of the ebay scam and moved on (at least in my case).
  19. I haven't listened to this one in a long time but do remember liking it (particularly the Morgan piece) and liking it more than I expected to.
  20. Don't regular DVDs work in Bluray. If so and you can get an all region one, that should work, right?
  21. There's a great bio about him on Pete Fornatale's Back to the Garden about Woodstock. He was the conscience of the festival by all accounts.
  22. No, but I saw it on the Beatles web site when it was first announced.
  23. Drink sounds nasty. Hope you had a goooooooooooood birthday
  24. Randy, Welcome back. Your typing seems fine to me and I hope you continue your recovery and have a much better 2010. Best, Brad
  25. Allen, Have you ever tried doing it yourself. There's a company out there I think called blurb.com where you can print as many as you want, no minimums. I think you'd find a ready audience here for a book like that.
