  1. Interestingly, the CEO (although I think he's actually more of the general manager of that planet, not really the CEO who is probably somewhere back on Earth) was the stockbroker in Boiler Room, trying to show his father he can make it. Somewhat shallow there as well, although his motivation was probably somewhat more honorable.
  2. Ditto, have a great one
  3. You saw through me What if the next town is Villingen-Schwenningen?
  4. I would break it up into two syllables: Lit-itz. I think one of our members (not sure if he posts any longer) Woodymaggie hails from there.
  5. It would have been an actual movie instead of a overblown video game penned by a 13 year old. Again, an ignorant comment if you haven't seen/read it. Yes RDK, I saw the film, and it was just as bland and mediocre as I thought it would be. Is my opinion validated now or does it only count if I fawn over it like a horny schoolgirl? Horny schoolgirl
  6. The only time that I recall a team beating another three times in one year was when the Giants beat the Skins to get into their first Super Bowl in 1986. Don't know if it was the only time, just the only one I remember.
  7. It would have been an actual movie instead of a overblown video game penned by a 13 year old. That's a little strong.
  8. One of the guys I work with is a big Philadelphia fan and he was disgusted this morning; he hated Reid and McNabb before this and this just reinforced it.
  9. Thanks for the links. Missed the Amazon US one; just as well, at $52!
  10. I meant Alice, not Cinderella, sorry. Think that will be out in March.
  11. Best car chase ever. When I saw that in the theatre, it was like you were along for the ride.
  12. It's a wonderful movie; one of my favorites. When it first came out in 68 or 69 (I forget which), I was an usher at the Merrick Cinema in Merrick, NY and must have seen it 40 times. I still watch it whenever I see it on TV and never get tired of it. A very, very good movie, with a great score.
  13. Thanks for posting Hans. I guess my first comment is where I can get that Jesse Van Ruller CD. CD Universe and Amazon seem to have his other Cds but not this one. Barring that, what other cds of his would you recommend?
  14. Would love to see you; I'm not that far away. Hope you indeed are back.
  15. My condolences but it sounded like she may have lived a full life and I'm sure in her years on this earth she must have witnessed and lived through very interesting times.
  16. Imax 3D is the only way to go!
  17. Well, the one that grabbed me today was Simon & Garfunkel's Bookends. Incredible tune. I want to learn to play it.
  18. Angels and Demons!
  19. Jim, Does your answer above apply to my question?
  20. I have a bit of a different problem. When I try to upload photos from my computer, they won't load and I get an Error 406. Any idea what that is?
  21. Jeff, I'll try a download; never tried that before. I'll be back in touch if it doesn't work.

I have the Excursions recording and like it. I think he is a good player. However, I'm not sure he's blazing any new trails and I can't disagree with the other comments posted so far.
  23. Saw this last night in Imax 3D. All I can say is Wow! Story is not original as some have noted but it is beautifully conceived and executed. Simply amazing movie. They also showed coming attractions for Cinderella in 3D. That also looks amazing.
  24. Is the T Bone set still available or is that an old listing?
  25. Waiting in line for Avatar on Imax.
