One of my Shaw favorites!

I heard a couple of pieces from their latest recording and liked them enough to order the cd today. They started at USC and are based out of LA. Interesting compostions that incorporate a number of styles. Pat Metheny a listed influence.

I like Heid but he's a different flavor then JoeyD-much more laid back style.

saw this show with Larry Coryell et. al in DC recently and thought it a great set of music with all musicians engaged and in fine form. I will say that I've seen less than stellar sets from Joey D but not this night!

one of the best shows I've seen at Blues Alley period. All musicians were in top form and having a ball. $35 plus a $12 per person minimum and well worth it. Set was almost 2 hours

all music gets dissed a lot but I find it useful. Yes, some reviewers are better than others but the price is right.

Nationals keep cruising along. One can only imagine what will happen when all their injured players return. Gio Gonzalez is the best pitcher in baseball right now and then there's Strasburg.
