  1. Marion Brown's Why Not is being reissued. Looking forward to this one for a while!
  2. I think we should start a new thread: are there any pictures of Mal Waldron where he is NOT smoking a cigarette
  3. Really like this one too, but for Max's exemplary drumming more so than Hasaan's.
  4. Herbie Hancock-Ostinato (Suite for Angels) off of Mwandishi. Baddazz when Billy Hart's drums seem to go into this weird psychedelic swirl.
  5. The Contemporary Jazz Classics of the Paul Moer Trio-Del Fi Elvira Plenar Trio w/ Peter Kowald and John Betsch: I was Just...-Free Flow Production
  6. I remember you too! Glad to see you back and wishing you a continued (and hopefully successful) recovery.
  7. Nice Christmas haul: Hamid Drake and Sabir Mateen-Brothers Together-Eremite Hamid Drake-Soul Bodies Vol. I-Ayler Records William Parker and Hamid Drake-Piercing the Veil-AUM Fidelity Charles Mingus-Right Now: Live at the Jazz Workshop-Debut/OJC Peter Brotzmann/Friss Nielson/Peter Uuskyla-Medicina-UMS Peter Brotzmann-More Nipples-UMS Sun Ra Arkestra-Myron's Ballroom-Transparency
  8. Holy Ghost is a mutha of a track!
  9. Nice score!
  10. Late to the party-hope you had a great day Jim!
  11. First real winter storm of the year's supposed to blow through, with high winds and heavy snow by Friday. Too bad I'll be missing the fun, since I'll be in Vegas by then!
  12. From one ghost to another-happy birthday!
  13. Glad one of the greats is still around. Hope to see him in concert one of these days!
  14. Grilled last night in 35 degree weather. I think I'll stick to the broiler for the winter.
  15. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and asparagus
  16. FYE here is hanging on by a shoestring focusing mainly on games and movies more than anything else. They haven't really had anything of mild interest for about 10 years, so I haven't bothered stopping in unless I'm in the mall for something else, which is hardly ever.
  17. Yeah, after JAW answered I realized I misunderstood the question!
  18. I have a copy of Delightfulee issued in 1987 with the silver and blue logo, later reissued in the CC series, that does not have the prefix CP but CDP (along with a DIDX prefix right under it). Is that what you meant? I also have The Song of Singing from 1987 too with the same configuration. Both indicate that that they were transfered by Ron McMaster and there was no indication that they were remastered from Japanese sources.
  19. Yes, that's what I figured, too. Even if there are alt takes involved, it's too much like the 2cd singles set for me - much as I love it. According to the Evidence website and Amazon, the Singles 2cd set is still available.
  20. Man, I've been looking for these albums, sans The Bridge, for years so I'm glad to see the bulk of them grouped together in a pretty handsome package.
  21. Well at least a used copy of Sonny's Time Now has dropped $49.99
  22. Yes, this is what I was trying to gauge, thanks. If anyone else has an opinion, please jump in. I think everything was in print except for the McLean, Willette and the Moncur. With RVG editions, I've noticed in most cases, this drives the prices down on previously OOP cds not up.
