There's a website called the Internet Archive that has a page called the "Wayback Machine." You can search for old websites that the organization has been archiving for many years. You might give that a try.

His version of Sconsoloto is great! On this album - worth picking up, for sure.

He does an exceptional job with that tune!

It's like anything else. Some vocalists can do it, others can't. You might as well ask: "Drum solos: Do they please?"

Considering it was in the Sports Section, I thought it was pretty good.

The newest album by Swedish band Dungen is pretty good. I would say about 1/2 of it sounds very Soft Machine-like.

I like it a LOT. Originally had the 2LP set, and was excited when the 4CD set came out. I think it has a great 'club vibe' to it and the performances are inspired. I think the knock on it is mostly about Mobley. Needless to say, he's not as adventurous as Trane or Shorter, but for me that doesn't matter.

I remember seeing him with Art Blakey way back when. One of Art's under-rated groups, I think. Valery was good in the ensemble, which also had Bobby Watson and David Schnitter.

I just saw on Twitter that Sean Jones wrote a tune called "Franklin and Fell" - very appropriate! I'm sure that part of the traffic problem was that Elvis Costello was across the street at the Nourse Theater doing an interview for his new book.

Some great scatting on this tune. I first heard him on this album. I was hooked right away with this tune.
