It weird Tom, that you post this.
For some reason we're killing a few centipedes in our house every day and other friends have seen the same thing in theirs.
There's a Borders by my house and I've used coupons to cherry pick what they have there, but they have totally eliminated their "jazz" stock. This is a store that not having any kind of close out sale.
It's time to bid that store adieu!
Isn't that Gadd?
Oh my God no, it's Vinnie Colaiuta.
The other guy's name I can't remember, but he played keyboards and sang. So did Tal and another guest singer.
Then, at one p[oint, Herbie played the Keytar.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....
I have this one:

I remember once that I saw a show at Avery Fisher Hall that had the band of Morello, Haynes, Blakey and Roach.
Blakey brought out Morello at the end of his set to play a kind of a drum battle together on a song.
It was nice!
That's my photo of Freddie on the cover.
I haven't received my copy yet.
These are from Todd Barkan's tapes made at the Keystone Korner. Toddy has lots.
I know that they are talking about a Dexter Gordon date to be released, and I would guess, more to come from other artists.
I talked to Azar a couple of weeks ago at Dizzy's in NYC.
He's looking for gigs.
Someone introduced him to me and I immediately said "Bridge into the New World!".
He kinda like that.
I haven't heard his recent recordings. though.
