Hit of the Week

Sony does not own this label. Maybe the culd be included as 'orphaned' recordings. Like a number of tracks on the Coleman Hawkins set.

Archeophone did a very thorough 4 2 CD sets with it's complete output.

Not really, because some of her singles were written by other songwriters, and a number of Bacharach tunes were album tracks for Dionne.  It would be great to gather them all in one concise location.

Honeydew was the label that recorded Dave McKenna then made two LPs by spiltting his date with one by the Wilbur Little Quartet. McKenna told me in an interview "It sounded like it was recorded in a toilet and I never got paid."

IIRC, at least some of those Honeydew Elvin albums had exceedingly long drum solos, which made them hard listens for me, even though I'm a big fan of his leader work in general.

I bought one out of a cutout bin and instead of an Elvin record it was a Nina Simone club date in pretty poor sound quality.

Not what I was either looking or hoping for.
