And to be honest, I've had a lot of problems with these newer LPs. Warps, underfill, cuts too hot for my setup, warbling piano, etc.

The lack of quality control in modern pressings is, indeed, quite frustrating. When done right, records can be pressed exceptionally well these days...arguably, better than ever...which makes it all the more frustrating when corners are cut and they have the issues that you mentioned.

The apparent "manufactured scarcity" of this series is certainly off-putting. I wish that they had gone the route of the new Stata-East reissue series, with high quality vinyl reissues and CD reissues released at the same time, and not hyped it up as being a "limited edition...buy now or cry later!" situation.

Pat Martino made some damn good stuff for Muse too. Counciousness, Live and The Visit. Amazing stuff. Not looking to replace mine but if this brings more people in touch with his music: let them reissues come!

Yeah, but "more people", in this case, is likely going to be the flippers/hoarders. Many of these new Muse LPs will never be opened and will sell from collector to collector in that condition. I'm betting that a lot of these will not be bought for the music.

That's absolutely on point.

My problem with Muse is the sound - rather thin, no warmth, especially the bass, and bass drums almost inaudible. I doubt there will be much improvement. And they have short playing time. In most cases two albums woulb fit on one CD. 

Some are musically very good, some are avrerage. I find this listing to be more useful than the one on discogs, due to all foreign editions listed there.

Interesting... Maybe CD editions to follow if these sell well? 

The more I hear from this Zev guy the less I like him. By no means a new trend. I now avoid his projects unless I find one absolutely compelling.
