  1. Only a guess on my part but it makes everything else work. The other possibility is bad "hard copy" was sent to the internet databases but that seems so "old hat" today.
  2. It was entered from the information imbedded in the discs.
  3. The Dexter cover is a pale reproduction of the original. Bummer.
  4. I never thought he added anything to the quartet beyond paying them.

  6. Sarah Miles Sarah Silverman Jay Silverheels
  7. Rudy's "ideal" side duration was 17 minutes. He discouraged anything over 20.

  16. Von's mother complained to me that he and George posed for pictures in their underwear.
  17. Charles wasn't very specific about the form and was only concerned (at the mixing session at Rudy's) that the music wasn't interrupted when the lp was turned over. It is a short cd of masterful music. Thank you Charles.
  18. Not that complicated: Bill Dixon - Intents and Purposes Julius Hemphill - Dogon A.D. Clare Fischer - Extension John Carter & Bobby Bradford - Flight for Four You might also look for the Carter/Bradford Mosiac Select which was produced by JLH. All worthy issues.
  19. The original lp was titled Ghosts. The Vibrations title appeared when reissued on Freedom.
  20. You think and a dime gets you......
