  1. This is at least partly like the "Don Juan Syndrome". Chasing after it is sometimes more fun than getting it.
  2. Miles Davis: Round About Midnight Ornette Coleman: The Shape Of Jazz To Come Errol Garner: Concert By The Sea Sonny Rollins: Saxophone Colossus Thelonious Monk: Brilliant Corners
  3. Bobby Shew Quintet featuring Gary Foster & David Parlato. Foster & Parlato signed my copy of Ne Plus Ultra. Tomorrow night - Eddie Daniels Quintet with Joe Locke, Tom Rainier, David Finck & Lewis Nash
  4. John Burdett: Bangkok Haunts (3rd in a series, they're all good).
  5. For those of us in the US, less expensive at DG.
  6. I don't own the LPs, so I bought the CD. I guess that's not what you asked though.
  7. The one I like with Milt is Plenty, Plenty Soul on Atlantic. Also more than like his "sideman" appearance with Miles.
  8. Currently out of stock at Dusty Groove. Put it on my want list.
  9. I hope the price comes down.
  10. My Dusty Groove order for both sets has also been confirmed for shipping.
  11. My current favorite is Rooftop Pizzeria here in Santa Fe.
  12. Pre-ordered the new Maria Schneider Arist Share CD. Braxton: London (1985)
  13. Such pontificating (you know who you are). What the hell - I'll join in. I really like Jarrett's playing. Hope the rest of you spend 6 or 7 hours on Werner Klemperer!!
  14. I read this too quickly. Thought it said spitter.

Dreams So Real? I like that one quite a bit. Carla Bley wrote all of the music on Genuine Tong Funeral. My copy also has 5 tracks from Lofty Fake Anagram.
  16. Yes - the Selig family no longer has anything to do with Brewer ownership. Their triple A farm team in Nashville is pretty good too.

  18. Another save for Cordero. Brewers back to 10 games over .500. I know none of you give a crap (obsessed as you are with the Red Sox, Yankees, etc.), but I find it kind of intriguing.
  19. Smalls has some C. Sharpe stuff. Don't know if it'll see the light of day.
  20. I did. He was really "motoring". BTW, another save for Cordero last night. Brewers lead division by 7 games.
  21. Thanks for the reminder Lon. I'm up for for the Miles & Monk.
