  1. He was pretty erratic though....
  2. I know Stanley is delusional at the best of times, but WTF is up with this statement? Vick on his way to being one of the greatest QBs in the history of the sport? Wow... just... wow! Cheers, Shane To simply play devil's advocate here, Crouch's comment may be off, but is it REALLY THAT far off? Vic was still relatively early in his career. He really was dangerous out there when he was healthy...very difficult to contain. He was definitely one of the more exciting players to watch on television. Perhaps he'd never reach the stature of a Unitas, Montana or Manning, but who knows what he could have accomplished in the next 6 or 7 years if he wasn't such a dumb ass?
  3. I didn't know they recorded that! Very nice.
  4. Bimbos aren't hot. MG Hey, I'm not trying to marry her or anything....it is what it is.
  5. Once video games can be shared via the internet (most of the games from the 8 and 16 bit eras already can), this will all even out.
  6. Hamburg vs. Bayern Munich should be a good one.
  7. I'm a huge fan of the Beasties, but this one just isn't connecting with me.
  8. That is a great lineup! Much better than Chicago's. Good luck with your shows!
  9. Its a shame that they don't utilize the Pritzker (sp?) Pavilion at Millenium Park for any of the Jazz Fest shows. Such a great venue with perfect acoustics.
  10. impossible, To be honest with you, I can't think of a better thing to be doing this weekend then just walking around downtown and enjoying the sights. The weather is supposed to be close to picture perfect this weekend, and its hard to beat a gorgeous summer day in Chicago. I'd recommend starting near the center of the city (State and Madison) and just go wherever your instinct leads you. You should definitely head north and see Michigan Ave., but don't limit your trek to the Mile, as there's lots of cool sights and architecture to see in the general area. The River North/Gold Coast area is very nice for walking and there are lots of good restaurants along the way. When you're in the Festival area, be sure to take some time to see Millennium Park. The Art Institute is nearby and, if you have time, is definitely worth a visit.
  11. That was really tragic. Just 22 years old. Gotta appreciate life while you're living it...
  12. Jesus loves you. Everyone else thinks you're an asshole.
  13. "The Sirens of Titan" - Kurt Vonnegut
  14. David Cronenberg is great on his DVD commentaries. I've heard "The Fly", "Videodrome" and "A History of Violence" and they are all very well done. A more entertaining commentary is the Cop and Crook commentary track on the "Goodfellas" DVD. It has commentary from a former FBI agent and the real Henry Hill!
  15. I'm excited to hear "Delightfulee". Have heard many good things about it!
  16. I'd say he was baaad, but not that greazy - not nearly as much as the Turbanator or anybody else. But he was baaad! (If he would have been more greazy, his two Arista LPs would have made it!) I agree, and like him all the better for it.
  17. Would love to see that Madrid matchup..... That's it...I'm looking into digital cable next week. I've had just about enough of this.
  18. The DVD is great. I think the film translates better to video than it does to the big screen.
  19. i was just walking by at midnight on a thursday a week or two ago v. drunk Was this because your girlfriend was throwing shit at you again?
  20. How about Manchester City?? Impressive.
  21. So is this the final lineup for this Saturday show? I know they've changed the lineup several times. I'd be just fine with this one! Think I'll head over to the Velvet after this show in order to get a good spot for Jordan/Anderson/Bankhead/Drake.
