  1. HA! How could I forget the supermarket's favorite Christmas song? This really is a terrible "song," and I'm stretching here by referring to it as such. But....... I've always had a soft spot for it, so..... I have a soft spot for it too! I truly dislike popular Christmas songs (I'd much rather listen to O Magnum Mysterium), but I always find myself singing along until the very last cheesy note of Paul McCartney's Christmas ditty.
  2. Thank you, Brownie.... "Harlem, NY, 1963" has been a longstanding favorite of mine.
  3. Happy Birthday Paul! Hope you're enjoying the day with great company and great music!
  4. Oh! I had forgotten about that one...

  7. YES!! My favorite way to eat a cheesesteak: provolone or white american, sweet peppers, (can't find them around here like I used to get back home ), onions, ketchup and a little bit of mayo.... yummm! I haven't had a decent cheesesteak since moving to Indiana, except for when I go back east to visit friends. edit to add the onions!
  8. I've been through most of the east coast; midwest, southwest (except Utah and New Mexico); southern California and Washington State. I'd like to go to northern California and other northern states such as Montana, North Dakota, etc. One of my big dreams is to ride the Amtrak Empire Builder from Chicago to Seattle which follows a lot of the Lewis and Clark trail. http://www.amtrak.com/servlet/ContentServe...87&ssid=135
  9. I guess you could say Tobi and Sam had a vagenda.
  10. My brother loved the show last night! He said the Tritone show absolutely made his week; he's anxious for return engagements in January. Thanks, Chalupa, for posting those great pics!
  11. :tup How 'bout ALL his co-workers? It's not for his lack of trying.. I think the midweek date is hard for a lot of them. Jim planned ahead, however; he took the week off.
  12. Hopefully my brother and some of his co-workers will be at the Tritone gig Thursday night.
  13. Now there's a guy who's Phillipian his wig over nothing!
  14. outstanding.
  15. I don't know what permit you to say such a thing. I was "ROOTING" for no one. Are you completely stupid or are you only playing to be so? Or is it so difficult to admit that you have no argument here and try (seems a great speciality of yours) to take the conversation on ANOTHER GROUND AGAIN? A bit of both, maybe? It is my understanding that "rooting" for someone means something entirely different in Europe than it does in America. (i.e. have a sexual overtone) Over here it just means to " cheer" for someone or wish that a certain opponent wins. It has no sexual meaning whatsoever.
  16. you mean Marn? Yoi yoi, double yoi! or how about the "the Cope-ra-scope"... from a former McKeesporter who never forgets...
  17. Wait, I thought he was there for kidney stones....did I miss something?
  18. Get well soon, Conn! You and your posse have a Baker's gig to attend the end of September!
