  1. Congratulations!! It's a beautiful name for a beautiful baby.
  2. Happy Belated Birthday, Rob!
  3. It's going to be a great Christmas; hopefully we will have some snow. But if not, it will still be a great Christmas because for me it's all about being together. ( especially when there's a 9 year old anxious to open presents--that's the beauty of Christmas for me!)
  4. Did they play anything other than music from the new album and A Go Go by any chance? I couldn't tell you much of what they played. There were a lot of tunes I didn't recognize (plus I don't have the new one yet), and no titles were announced from the stage. I noticed one tune from A Go Go, plus Sunshine of Your Love. Here's the setlist from bt.etree.org: 01 Little Walter Rides Again > 02 Improv > 03 Cachaca 04 Southern Pacific 05 Sunshine Of Your Love 06 Hanuman disc 2 - set 2 01 Miles Behind 02 In Case The World Changes Its Mind 03 Tequila And Chocolate 04 Deadzy > 05 What Now 06 Julia 07 Hottentot Encore: 08 New New Orleans I particularly loved Sunshine of Your Love and Julia.
  5. HA! How could I forget the supermarket's favorite Christmas song? This really is a terrible "song," and I'm stretching here by referring to it as such. But....... I've always had a soft spot for it, so..... I have a soft spot for it too! I truly dislike popular Christmas songs (I'd much rather listen to O Magnum Mysterium), but I always find myself singing along until the very last cheesy note of Paul McCartney's Christmas ditty.
  6. Thank you, Brownie.... "Harlem, NY, 1963" has been a longstanding favorite of mine.
  7. or.... one could say that I have good ears but am quite the underachiever when it comes to taking music to any level beyond high school band. But I'll take that "I rock" from you any day. (and Joe got 94 percent!)
  8. 88.9%. I agree that the 'thumb piano' ones were tricky. The easiest ones for me were the guitar sounds and the horn sounds.
  9. Happy Birthday Paul! Hope you're enjoying the day with great company and great music!
  10. Oh! I had forgotten about that one...
  11. Enjoy the Day! Drink some Beer! Check out the ladies!
  12. Happy Birthday, Brownie! Enjoy the day with fabulous food, wine, and company...
  13. Yay! Bright Size Life
  14. YES!! My favorite way to eat a cheesesteak: provolone or white american, sweet peppers, (can't find them around here like I used to get back home ), onions, ketchup and a little bit of mayo.... yummm! I haven't had a decent cheesesteak since moving to Indiana, except for when I go back east to visit friends. edit to add the onions!
  15. I've been through most of the east coast; midwest, southwest (except Utah and New Mexico); southern California and Washington State. I'd like to go to northern California and other northern states such as Montana, North Dakota, etc. One of my big dreams is to ride the Amtrak Empire Builder from Chicago to Seattle which follows a lot of the Lewis and Clark trail. http://www.amtrak.com/servlet/ContentServe...87&ssid=135
  16. I guess you could say Tobi and Sam had a vagenda.
  17. My brother loved the show last night! He said the Tritone show absolutely made his week; he's anxious for return engagements in January. Thanks, Chalupa, for posting those great pics!
  18. :tup How 'bout ALL his co-workers? It's not for his lack of trying.. I think the midweek date is hard for a lot of them. Jim planned ahead, however; he took the week off.
  19. Hopefully my brother and some of his co-workers will be at the Tritone gig Thursday night.
  20. Now there's a guy who's Phillipian his wig over nothing!
  21. outstanding.
