  1. Must be. There was just something about the combination that did the trick. While on the subject of shit tsunamis, for me the biggest mistake I ever made was thinking it was a good idea to do the drive thru at Taco Bueno in Amarillo.
  2. I forgot about the foot longs at Sonic. The chili cheese Coney with Tots used to be a Saturday late morning/early afternoon ritual for me after heavy Friday night drinking.
  3. If your mom has a Shake Shack in the vicinity their dogs are superior to most. I've never had a dog at Five Guys but imagine that's it's probably pretty good and would pick over Sonic. That's an interesting description. Last time I had a dog from Sonic was while on the road and passing through Gallup New Mexico. I ordered a "premium" Chicago Dog and something just seemed off and I've not had one since.
  4. Sometimes I prefer the dog to be longer than the bun and the thin dog is the only way to go. These are tasty and available both ways.
  5. Shit, I always thought Yngwie was much older than me.
  6. Agree. Same thing with senior pro golf. A lot of those guys are still capable of beating much younger competitors. This seems silly. Do you disregard opinions from retired pro football players? How about basketball and baseball?
  7. North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner. It's fuckin' hot outside and this is just right.
  8. "So, all I had to do was listen to Ice Cube tell me how things are?"
  9. Average annual tuition/expenses at this place is somewhere between $45,000-$68,000 per year. How the fuck can't you make that work?
  10. After you've watched Dazed and Confused you'll see what a turd this movie was.
  11. I didn't enjoy this one at all. I was expecting the "spiritual sequel" to Dazed and Confused and instead got something totally ridiculous.
  12. Just got caught up on Street Outlaws Season 9, only one episode left. Silicon Valley (T.J. Miller makes this show) I've only watched one partial episode of The Leftovers this season. I think I might be happy about that but will probably go back and watch the entire season since it's the last one.
  13. Rest easy.
  14. In NY I use a box at UPS but I do give the counter gang a little cash just to be sure. In AZ the mail carrier for the house is a fuck up and insists on walking through my yard and gives us other people's mail on a weekly if not daily basis. Not an isolated problem because neighbors complain the same, so he gets shit. Now at the office, whole different story. UPS, FedEx and USPS carrier all get something. I think they all have the hots for my front office staff so maybe that is the reason we get that same kind of "red carpet treatment".
  15. Audioslave wasn't for me but Soundgarden, hell yea. I've been reading about his wife saying no way he would knowingly commit suicide. Maybe that's true in some way but when are people going to learn that you can't just keep taking extra doses of shit like Ativan without it fucking you up to the point you're dead? Very sad, pitiful and stupid. Anyways, R.I.P Chris Cornell and thanks for the music.
  16. My first was the 60s G.I. Joe with the space capsule then I had 1970s G.I. Joe with the beard and Kung Fu grip. Lost 1966 Joe but till had the space capsule and could stuff 70s Joe in there too along with Evil Knievel. RIP and thanks Mr. Weston.
  17. Right on. Nothing wrong with a little easy listening and as you just pointed out, it's Hodges playing. How could it be bad?
  18. Shit does get expensive. We just went through a total re-wire. To prep for it we had to have all the old insulation removed plus many years worth of debris in the attic space like roof shingles, wood, old duct work, etc. Then, when the electrical work was completed we had it all re-insulated. Starting next week we have a drywall/plaster guy coming in to patch up all the fuckin' holes. Next up is a new central air unit and then like Dmitry, a bathroom re-do.
  19. See there. I mean that shit goes back like 12-13 years. The dummies at ESPN didn't get the joke.
