  1. I've checked this out before, and the answer is the same, so it's probably accurate: "Rock around the Clock," Bill Haley and the Comets.
  2. I took you off ignore to read this comment. I just think it was unneccessary and would have preferred the final scene to be Will and Hannibal's. On top of that it seemed uncharacteristic of Hannibal and his culinary habits to me. If there's something else to come that would be great. But I doubt it.
  3. Hannibal finale (they should have left off the last scene,) and I've been re-watching Heroes, went through the first two seasons.

Lots of talk that Bootleg Series Vol. 12 will be multiple-sized (including an 18 cd one) sets of '65 through '66 material. Color me very interested.
  5. Me too. Really like the sound on the Haydn set. I'm also enjoying listening to the box of Shostakovich symphonies on SACD listed upstream. Wow.
  6. It all boils down to fear and love. In the bottom of the pan, Fear and love. Your love is helping me Scrape out the fear.
  7. Thanks for this post.
  8. Interesting that this is appearing. http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/savoy-jazz-to-release-charlie-parker-the-complete-savoy-and-dial-studio-recordings-1944--1948-on-vinyl-november-13th-300132783.html
  9. If he wants one, coudn't/wouldn't have created one or had one created?
  10. I guess I like this more than many. I'm on my fourth go round through the three cds and it's fun listening. I like that the trombone is featured often and it's well-played. Nothing ground-breaking, but I'm tickled at its success and glad I gave it a shot.
  11. Yes, I agree. And I'm going to get the two Brubecks. I've never heard Jackpot, but I have heard Amsterdam and like it, but only have an "lp burn."
  12. Next in the series is "Sextin'"
  13. Great one!

  16. So sorry to read that Tim. All the best.
  17. It's great material imo. I'm in for the Blu-ray and the cd.
  18. Or not. . . (I had 'em, don't have 'em any more).
  19. Thanks for the headsup
  20. I don't want to turn Japanese!
  21. My problem is I have too much stuff. I know it makes no sense to have so much stuff. I know how expensive it is to retain so much stuff. And I have too much stuff. All problems have solutions, but I don't like the solution to this one.
  22. I've finally gotten around to checking this out. Some of it I really like. I don't find any of it ground-breaking or innovative or cutting-edge, but there's some nice listening here.
  23. Thanks everyone, it was great. So nice to have the big move over, and have a life of my own again, shared now with Lucy, who is really a Godsend to my life. So far 60 is good!
  24. Happy birthday Shawn! Enjoy your time with your visitor and be sure to have a safe and happy day!
  25. And Obama's birthday. . . and Billy Bob's! Turning 60 today. Wow. Having a nice morning plugging in a few guitars and playing the stereo, and looking forward to my second birthday dinner with Lucy (first was on Saturday!) I'm a lucky man, Lucy is in my life and I enjoy every evening with her, birthday or not. Thanks for all the great wishes my friends!
