There's no question Evans could play the blues. The blues is not the bedrock of his style as it is in the style of many other pianists we love. Every year that passes I appreciate Evans more and more. Putting on one of his albums can transport me to another dimension in the way that those of a handful of other artists can, there are select artists that can take me to their own musical universe.

I agree. The small group sides and solo sides are hot as well. Great sound.

I love Seasons 2-4 of Fringe! Today catching up on Castle, The Following (still not completely sure about this show) and a few episodes of Millionaire Matchmaker (I find that show fascinating).

Interesting comment. Folks on the Miles list complained about the subpar sound as compared to the Japanese "1969 Miles". In my opinion the sound is improved. Reverb and mud removed.

Wouldn't it be great if every time one comes out we think that? And it's possible with the right choices!

Moshi Too is such a killer release! Some of this could be part of Miles early 'seventies repretoire. Others have that Wilen beauty in spades. Still others are captivating in other ways.

Well I watch DVDs often, Blu-rays when possible, and the resolution is a bit better on the DVD sonics wise, and the picture in this one is exceptionally good. I'm all for the 3 to 1 DVD ratio. . . and I doubt I'm the only fan of the DVDs. My sticker set up was the same: yellow on the shrink wrap, white "0" sticker on teh digipak itself.

Man, the DVDs in these sets are a BIG draw for me. Liner notes. . . don't really need those.

Smiling lips are sexiest to me.

do you own a PHONE? I'll meet you halfway. Meet my new desktop image! Thank you! I own a very basic cell phone but don't have a cord to conect it to the iMac, nor know what to do with it if I did. I'm not into pictures. I misspoke, I actually have a camera, but I no longer have the software to use it with my iMac, and the laptop I had used it with has died. So I really don't have a working camera for sharing pics. Which is okay with me.

Yes, I just bought the most recent Japanese cd of that date and it's great.

"Another Dimension" has come out or will soon come out on cd via Japan. A highly recommended session.
