    Is this any good? Someone has been trying to sell a copy for while but I knew nothing about it. My least favorite Lateef Impulse! . . . but it's still worth listening to.

    As does the cd version in the new box set from Pop Matters. (Mono track on otherwise stereo disc, and also three other bonus tracks).

    i thought they ended the series well, though this was my least favorite season (and I'm not that crazy about the first season). Will be interesting to see where these actors pop up in the future.

    Henry Miller "Complete Book of Friends." This British edition sure could have used a better editor, more typos than I've seen in ages in one book.

    (My computer is dead, I just have a dumb phone, so I've borrowed a friend's computer to say): What a wonderful set. Excellent sound. I'm enjoying the Ellingtonian nature of quite a bit of this material.

    I haven't done comparisons and yet I doubt there will be mch that is "really new" here. But the truth is for many who haven't been collectors of this material on lp this material will be welcom on cd in the Mosaic reissue quality.

    I think she's not someone that you think she may be Jim, just an actress in a commercial or two. Doesn't look to me like Valentine or Alba.

    I recommend "The Complete Wolverines" on Archaeophone, as well as the first (and subsequent) volume of Fats Waller on JSP.

    Just ordered the Deadwood blu-ray set (was pretty well-priced on amazon); haven't seen it but always wanted to and had some Xmas money. I did see those "Bad Santa" episodes of American Horror Story: Asylum. That show is off the hook!

    Refreshingly, I've watched nothing of a video nature at all since Wednesday night except the disappoinitng Fringe episode.
