Starting with the Prestige sideman dates, moving to the Prestige co-leader and leader, the Cecil Taylor album, the Wllbur Harden Savoy's, the Monk Riverside's and the Carnegie Hall album which came out in the CD era, the Jazz West/BN Paul Chambers, the other BN sideman stuff, the Bethlehem stuff, the Ray Draper,s the Roulette half-album, the Atlantic box (some of which I play often, but love it as much as the Impulse stuff and enjoy any excuse to return to it), and selected Impulse sessions (some I basically already have memorized, I've heard them so much) and a few live recordings. Not hitting the Miles Davis stuff, as I'm pretty current on that. Am I overlooking anything vital? Quote

It leaves so much modern EAI in the shade with the quality of what is produced. I remember hearing about it from my university audiovisual department back in 2001, in hushed tones, discussing an album that was almost impossible to get hold of. Whatever one might say about Spotify's predatory impact on the music industry, it is quite amazing that you can now just stream a record like this. Edited May 25 by Rabshakeh Quote

You're not going to be disappointed by exploring his work, especially on International Anthem. Glad Chuck mentioned those Delmark records. LA-based now, Parker was in Chicago for many years. He was active with Fred Anderson and played at the Velvet Lounge often, as well as being in the instrumental prog-rock group Tortoise. I really like his recent unaccompanied guitar LPs and have also dug seeing him play solo music live. Quote
