  4. PM sent on: Count Basie- America’s #1 Band (Case open w/booklet-jewel case with discs still sealed (scratch in bar code) Case Ex/M $8
  5. Did they publish which ones they're going to reissue? Clifford Jordan's Night of the Mark VII is a great album I have on a 32 Jazz CD. Would consider an upgrade if the SQ is improved enough bc I like this record.
  6. Mine just arrived. Will be playing it all weekend
  7. Today
  8. I ran across a vintage Pepsodent ad with agents 86 & 13 in a grocery store. What a hoot!
  9. The Two Waynes !!! (Shorter & Newton/
  10. Ichi-Ban was on Timeless, not Muse, though it is a really good album. And I'm with you on The Real Thing being great. This one was on Cobblestone, the forerunner of Muse, and is really good too:
  11. The more I hear from this Zev guy the less I like him. By no means a new trend. I now avoid his projects unless I find one absolutely compelling.
  12. Absolutely the same here.
  13. if one does, one has to do it right. That guy in the back on that keyboard 🤣 this must give some of the board members here nostalgic feelings. I was born only three years later after this piece of art
  14. That's because it is on this excellent disc by the Buchberger Quartet, highly recommended. The whole series on Wergo is excellent. https://www.discogs.com/label/532694-Edition-Paul-Hindemith The three box sets with all orchestral works on CPO sare the perfect complement. Add the various chamber music discs by the Ensemble Villa Musica to complete the picture. https://www.discogs.com/artist/1058369-Ensemble-Villa-Musica

  17. If both of you like it chances are big I like it. I”ll put it on my Spotify ‘should I buy?’ playlist
  18. I’ve got the same question. It is on my wantlist already…
  19. Pharoah Sanders “Message from Home” Verve cd Produced by Bill Laswell
  20. That's absolutely on point. My problem with Muse is the sound - rather thin, no warmth, especially the bass, and bass drums almost inaudible. I doubt there will be much improvement. And they have short playing time. In most cases two albums woulb fit on one CD. Some are musically very good, some are avrerage. I find this listing to be more useful than the one on discogs, due to all foreign editions listed there. http://www.jazzlists.com/SJ_Label_Muse_5000.htm Muse continued when Prestige was turned into a fusion label. Don Schlitten et al.
