    Reading The Best Hamer History Essays on Lincoln, edited by Sean Wilentz, a collection of essays by some great historians and writers on Lincoln. Recommended.

    It seems amazing to me that this thread just goes on and on, with nothing new really being said, except a trotting out of the same old arguments. At this point, I would think people would just say "I've made my points," and move on.

    That's great Ed. My son plays guitar in his school's Jazz Band. They actually have two but he didn't get into the one he wanted. The last two years he played clarinet but this year wanted to do guitar.

    Listened to Rubber Soul again the other day. I would have to say that is my favorite; it's an album that I never tire of listening. When I was a kid I used to hate "Michelle." Now, I think I really like it. Guess I'm old

    That't not exactly true, assuming he's listening to Channel 70. However, they do tend to repeat things here and there. I actually find that to be more of a problem on their Classic Vinyl station (60s rock).

    I don't know if he wrote that but no matter, he was very forthright. Doesn't excuse what he did but at least he owned up, not like Clemens or Bar-roid.
