Pretty pathetic to mention her in the same breath as Ellington not to mention that maybe someday people may think they performed together. It's creating an event which never happened, destroying history as it were.

It seems amazing to me that this thread just goes on and on, with nothing new really being said, except a trotting out of the same old arguments. At this point, I would think people would just say "I've made my points," and move on.

That's great Ed. My son plays guitar in his school's Jazz Band. They actually have two but he didn't get into the one he wanted. The last two years he played clarinet but this year wanted to do guitar.

That't not exactly true, assuming he's listening to Channel 70. However, they do tend to repeat things here and there.
I actually find that to be more of a problem on their Classic Vinyl station (60s rock).
I don't know if he wrote that but no matter, he was very forthright. Doesn't excuse what he did but at least he owned up, not like Clemens or Bar-roid.
