  1. THAT is a great price! You can get that AND the complete Prisoner for $58.48. If you don't have these - get them NOW!
  2. Too bad it's OOP now. I wouldn't mind having it myself. I did see that there's going to be a "Complete 5 Spot" set coming out soon (although it might be an import)
  3. It's definitely working much better than at first. They should have done a better job of testing before the release, though. Anyway, I'm fine with the current setup. ALL websites go through interface revisions periodically. Look at the grief that Facebook members throw out every time they make a change/revision. Pricing isn't nearly as good as it used to be, but it's still about 20-30% cheaper than Amazon or iTunes on most catalog albums.
  4. Nice! No doubt about it, we have the BEST fog here in SF.
  5. Thanks, King!
  6. That's exactly what I was referring to.

  9. I got a Logitech Squeezebox that's pretty easy to use and has great sound for it's size. You can pick radio stations or Pandora or lots of other internet options. Worth checking out.

  14. Could'a use that yesterday when I downloaded the new Kate Bush
  15. Joe Hen, the Milestone Years (disks 2 & 3)
  16. Nice video! So much 'low key' fire under "You Know You Know". I got to see them in 72 and 73 - needless to say, VERY intense. Also fortunate to have seen the McLaughlin/Santana tour with Larry Young in Sept '73.
  17. See? I'm totally clueless. OK.........Winnipeg: 65
  18. I know absolutely NOTHING about this, but I pick Winnipeg - 43 points
  19. So much pain, so much sorrow, so much drama. Such is the life of many who regularly post on the eMusic board. While there's certainly a good amount of unnecessary stress and confusion in dealing with this new format, I find the nastiness and histrionics of some members rather laughable. For some reason, I've encountered few of the problems others report, and I've had no difficulty downloading files or saving titles to my list. Louis CK tells it like it is that is EXCELLENT!
  20. Still pretty messed up. I'm not at the point of abandoning ship, but I must say they did a terrible job of rolling out the new interface - both technically and marketing-wise. If you read the eMusic message board, there are a LOT of unhappy members. I hope they get it together SOON.
  21. Saw Lucinda Williams at the Fillmore last night. Very entertaining - intense, as usual. Had a special 2nd set of mostly covers dedicated to the OWS movement.
  22. Not sure why he calls it bizarre or even if I agree with the "Dang Me" reference. It's so slight, that it could just about be anything. I would call the review "bizarre", though.
  23. Got the book, but haven't broken into it yet. Looks like lots of interesting stuff, for sure. According to the book's 'liner notes', the CD includes: Jitterbug Waltz, Rahsaan (Bright Moments) Pursuit, McCoy Tyner (Atlantis) Ginseng People, Woody Shaw (Live: Vol 3) Antabus, Dexter (Nights at the Keystone Korner, Vol 1) Polka Dots & Moonbeams, Bill Evans (Last Waltz) Joy Spring, Stan Getz (The Dolphin) My Foolish Heart, Cedar Walton (Among Friends) In Walked Bud, Art Blakey (Keystone 3)
  24. Put some JJJ on the music box and chill, OK? but.......having said that, it IS pretty messed up right now. They actually have a 'disclaimer' on the home page about the "performance issues".
  25. Relax! It's a major revamp - its gonna be buggy.
