The Complete Hank Mobley Blue Note Sessions 1963-70 by Hank Mobley

Diiscs 4 and 5-the Caddy For Daddy and Slice of the Top elements.  Never enjoyed any more than I did this morning.

By chance, same here too - with addition of disk 3 ‘Dippin’’ too. Great stuff !

I don’t think ‘Slice of the Top’ has sounded better than it does in this version.

Planning to listen to all three of the Commodore sets across the summer. On record 7 of V. 1 this afternoon—the Willie the Lion Smith sides. ❤️

I'm just finishing up doing that. I've been at it off and on for a year. One LP in Volume 3 left!

You've nearly reached the end of the Commodore trail!  I'm only 59 LPs behind you!

Had the set over a month now and I'm ready to open Discs 3/4. Spinning disc 3 just now. Really such sublime music.

Still on disk 1. It is so good, it is on repeat play, along with Vol 2 of Jim Hall. Superlative !
