Clifford - I picked this one up about 5 years ago and I don't think it was FMR although I may be wrong. Since then it has also been reissued over here on CD on another label (can't recall which). I thought that run of 99 copies was initially reduced due to some of them being disposed of so Howard probably has a total monopoly on what is potentially out there. Also in the 'private pressing' category - the late UK guitarist Frank Evans on his own 'Blue Bag' label.

I have a copy of that Hank Jones solo Savoy on a UK London LP from the 1950s. Time to dig it out..

Mine sounds fine - nothing noticeable in the quiet parts. Didn't cost that much either. My copy of 'We'll Talk About It Later' is pretty quiet too. Maybe all the good copies were held back from export ! (or perhaps some of those pressings might have been affected by the first oil crisis circa 1972/73). I have that Julian Dash as well. The only other sessions I've heard him on are on the Buck Clayton Mosaic.
